PRODUCTION: CCP Tanghalang Pilipino’s MABINING MANDIRIGMA, A Steampunk Musical
A contemporary musical foregrounding the intellectual heroism of Apolinario Mabini, who in the second phase of Philippine revolution, displayed an uncommon vision, a warrior’s spirit, and a principled character, as he struggled against all odds to enjoin his countrymen to go beyond considerations of class, clan, economic gain, and personal ambition, so they could think and act as citizens of one nation.

REQUIREMENTS: Bring two (2) copies of your updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Come in STEAMPUNK attire
For DANCERS:
Prepare a 2-3 minute dance or movement piece
For ENSEMBLE / KORO:
Prepare 2-3 minute monologue, preferably Filipino
2-3 minute movement piece
Any Filipino song in acapella or with minus one accompaniment

As the resident theater company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino envisions raising Philippine theater to heights of professional and artistic excellence, dedicated to developing and training actors, playwrights and designers with special emphasis in the production of original Filipino plays. By staging plays from the repertoire of Philippine past and plays in translation from other countries, TP hopes to bring to the experience of both artists and audience the best of Philippine and global theater tradition. Tanghalang Pilipino maintains a regular training program for actors through its Actors Company.
