The box-office hit “Kung PaanoAkoNaging Leading Lady: The Musical” is back on stage fully re-imagined and revamped through the fresh eyes of rip-roaring millennials. This pun-filled musical extravaganza brims with Carlo Vergara’s acerbic wit, flamboyant production numbers, and superhero-supervillain action sequences that pack a punch.

To celebrate the past twenty-five years, the Ateneo Blue Repertory presents Company Call: blueREP at 25. The silver anniversary concert will bring together current members and alumni for a special event this April 8, 2017. Featuring some of the organization's most recognizable musical numbers and performers, the concert is about coming home to where generations of blueREPPERs discovered their passion for the stage.

T he Ateneo Blue Repertory showcase an original theatrical pay entitled “Real-Life Fairytales” directed by Missy Maramara. The whole play is composed of six different stories that show the grey part in a life of a struggling person. In the last part of the play the whole cast sing the song “Play by Ear” that says “... if happy ending can’t be found, you play it by ear...” which signify “hope” amidst the problem an individual might be facing.

Ateneo Blue Repertory presents “Real Life Fairytales”, a blueREP original play,  forit’s 25th Season Premiere.  Real-Life Fairytales is a series of six unique vignettes about how fantastical real life can be, or alternately, how fantasy isn’t so different from real life. Contemporary issues such as mental health, body image, and drug use are examined through the lens of the magical and unusual.

Ateneo Blue Repertory, the foremost college musical theatre organization of the Ateneo de Manila University, closes blueREP’s 22nd season with the highly anticipated original production, Toilet: The Musical. Back from the World Championship of the Performing Arts with three silver medals and one gold, up-and-coming musical director and blueREP alumnus Ejay Yatco returns with Toilet: The Musical- an original production that is set to be the most talked-about show of the year. In line with blueREP’s 22nd theme “Magkano Mabuhay?” Toilet: The Musical leads it’s audience on a journey into the lives of eight seemingly ordinary students, each with a story to share and a secret to disclose within the cold confines of the toilet walls. Toilet: The Musical discourses upon grim territory close to home – suicide, unrequited love, religious disparity, bulimia, sexuality, and fear of what the future holds- yet never forgetting to show the light at the end of the tunnel, and the struggle to rem...
