ABS-CBN Corporation announced the appointment of Cory Vidanes as its chief operating officer (COO) of broadcast, effective February 1, 2016. Vidanes will continue to lead and oversee the total channel programming, artist development, on-air operations, events management, and overall revenue and profit delivery of Channel 2. Together with the Content Development Council headed by chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio, Vidanes will manage the development of new concepts for Channel 2 and the ABS-CBN TVplus channels Yey, CineMo, and Knowledge Channel.
