After the success of its anniversary show last October 27th, Ampalaya Monologues is going to restage its newestcollection dubbed as “Bitt3rd.” The Ampalaya Monologues’ Bitt3rd collection is about the two kinds of people; those who drink and those who cause the urge to drink. It asks, “Which one will you be?” As the night unfolds, interconnected stories of those who have taken chances find themselves to be both, through their own and others’ experiences.

The spoken word performances walked through the reality of life, on its own angle and perspective as it narrates the story of the possible experiences of the artists themselves. The creativity on how they connect the appropriate words that corresponds to the right message of the story was well done.

A new set of Ampalaya Monologues will come to life for the show’s third anniversary dubbed as “Bitt3rd.” This set is said to be the deepest, funniest and most relatable to date.

To celebrate two years of artistic bitterness, the team from Ampalaya Monologues decide to double up the bitterness with a one-night only anniversary show “Ampalaya Dialogues #TwoIsBitterThanOne” on October 14 – Saturday from 7 pm – 10 pm at the PETA Theater Center located at Eymard Road, E. Rodriguez Q.C.

Theater in Alternative Platforms : Ampalaya Monologues There might be another Ampalaya Day in 2016 as Ampalaya Monologues just turned one year old, and they are about to put on a show this October 2016 at PETA Theater in Quezon City. Expect a night of #hugot as Theater in Alternative Platforms will wage the popular program, created by writer Mark Ghosn, in a night full of bitter stories embodied in various sets of one-person theatrical plays.
