I think I just had a Classic Pare Titos and Titas of Manila moment while watching this movie since I couldn’t help myself from twitterpating (kilig lang yan, inartehan ko) over such a cute couple. Nope, not talking about JoshLia (even if Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were also really charming here).

Ang istoryang isinulat nina Bela Padilla at Neil Arce ay babarilin ka sa gulat samantalang ang screenplay ni Bela ay may balang papasok sa sintido't puso mo. Wala kang magagawa kundi dumiretso sa langit at mamangha.

Finally Found Someone is a 2017 Filipino romantic comedy film starring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. The film is directed by Theodore Boborol. It is under the production of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

Dukot (English: Captured) is a 2016 Filipino suspense, thriller, drama film directed by Paul Soriano, starring Enrique Gil, Shaina Magdayao, Ricky Davao, Christopher de Leon, and Bing Pimentel. The film is executive produced by Malou Santos and Charo Santos-Concio. Based on true events, the film tells the story of Carlo, played by Enrique, who was kidnapped and held to demand ransom from his parents. It was released by Star Cinema on July 13, 2016 in more than one hundred cinemas throughout the country.

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab...

My notes on Everyday I Love You: 1. Let me start by saying that this movie was far from being groundbreaking. It was a simple and derivative love story that didn't really deviate much from the Star Cinema rom-com formula. It successfully delivered on the promised kiligs, though, and I went out of the theater feeling like I was experiencing puppy love for the very first time again. 2. All the credit should go to the wonderful tandem of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. They saved a tired old plot straight out of While You Were Sleeping (loyalty vs love) just by continuously teasing each other and making googly eyes that made the entire theater swoon. They were more than bagay. In my heart, they were really meant to be.
