Internationally-acclaimed acting coach Ivana Chubbuck is once again coming back to Manila to further honeartists not only as performers but also as winner in life. Ivana will be holding her two-day workshop for actors of Star Magic and ABS-CBN actors on October 6 and 7 at the Dolphy Theater. She is best known for being an acting coach to Academy Award Winners and Nominees such as Gadot, Halle Berry, Jared Leto, Sylvester Stallone, Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey, Charlize Theron, BeyoInternationally-acclaimed acting coach Ivana Chubbuck is once again coming back to Manila to further honeartists not only as performers but also as winner in life.

The fresh new faces of Star Magic Circle this year was revealed last 11th of March. Composed of 13 unique individuals from different kind of fields are very much ready to show off what they’ve got and to make their name stand out in the entertainment industry.

We probably enjoyed their reunion through Flordeliza but the younger audiences have no idea how iconic this loveteam was way back in 90s. Marvin and Jolina are known for their romantic-comedy projects  both on TV and big screen and the movie “Labs Kita.. Okey Ka Lang?” is probably one of their most iconic project of all.

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab...

ABS-CBN Corporation announced the appointment of Cory Vidanes as its chief operating officer (COO) of broadcast, effective February 1, 2016. Vidanes will continue to lead and oversee the total channel programming, artist development, on-air operations, events management, and overall revenue and profit delivery of Channel 2. Together with the Content Development Council headed by chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio, Vidanes will manage the development of new concepts for Channel 2 and the ABS-CBN TVplus channels Yey, CineMo, and Knowledge Channel.

ABS-CBN Corporation’s Outstanding P6.0-Billion Bond Issuance Maintains Highest Credit Rating. The credit rating of the P6.0-billion bond issuance of ABS-CBN Corporation (ABS) was maintained at PRS Aaa by Philippine Rating Services Corporation (PhilRatings). The bonds are due on February 10, 2021 and carry an interest rate of 5.3350%. Obligations rated PRS Aaa, the highest rating assigned by PhilRatings, are of the highest quality with minimal credit risk. The obligor’s capacity to meet its financial commitment on the obligation is extremely strong.

ABS-CBN’s newest drama series “Ningning” quickly charmed viewers as the telesyere starring child actress Jana Agoncillo debuted as the most watched daytime TV program in the country. According to data from Kantar Media last Monday (July 27), “Ningning’s” pilot episode scored a national TV rating of 19.9%, which is 11 percentage points higher compared to its rival program in GMA “The Ryzza Mae Show” (8.9%).

ABS-CBN won a bronze medal in the Cinematography category at the prestigious New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films 2015 for its documentary “Yolanda (Haiyan).” “When I We were just told, as I was accepting the award, that the government still needs to fast track help for the Yolanda victims. I hope it does translate to a speedier recovery and at the same time I hope we have all learned our lessons on the tragedy,” said ABS-CBN Integrated News head Ging Reyes, who received the award along with broadcast journalist Chiara Zambrano.

Carlo Katigbak started his career at SKY in 1994, culminating with his appointment as managing director of Pilipino Cable Corporation and concurrent VP for Provincial Operations of SKY. After that, he became managing director of ABS-CBN Interactive, Inc., for six years and was later on appointed as chief operating officer of SKY from 2005 to 2011. Right now ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s largest multimedia conglomerate, today announced the appointment of Carlo Katigbak as chief operating officer effective March 1, 2015.
