PREMISE ‘BINONDO: a Tsinoy Musical’ tells the story of how LILY, a Filipina night club singer in pre-Martial Law Manila, and AH TIONG, a mainland Chinese scholar returning to Cultural Revolution-era Beijing, embark on a journey of great love and heartbreak that begins one fated, moon-lit night during the Mid-Autumn Festival of 1971 in the heart of Manila’s Chinatown.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC:  THE SEARCH IS ON FOR VON TRAPP CHILDREN IN MANILA The legendary musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC is coming to Manila this September, and the search is now on for local Philippine children to be part of the show. Presented by Globe LIVE, the highly-acclaimed production comes from the home of West End musical theatre – the famous London Palladium - where the lavish and dazzling show celebrated a record-breaking 954 performances and was seen by over two million people.
