A different kind of ever after is coming your way as SOLAR PICTURES brings you THE BRIDE . This horror flick tells the story of a small town girl named Nastya. Newly married, her husband Ivan drives her to his hometown to meet his family. Upon their arrival, Nastya feels she made the wrong decision as strange people surround her and starts witnessing bizarre and terrible visions while Ivan’s family prepares her for a mysterious Slavic wedding ceremony.

Of all the triumphs going for Diane Ventura’s first feature-length film, Mulat (Awaken), its genre-bending narrative style and the ace performances of its actors perhaps take the cake. Chief in this long list are its two lead actors—Jake Cuenca (who plays the morose Jake) and Ryan Eigenmann (who is dynamite as Vince)—both of whom effectively quash any preconceived notions viewers may have of their abilities due to their notoriety in more mass-leaning vehicles.

“Ma Rosa” Synopsis  ROSA,owns a small community convenience storeconnected to their home in the slums of Metropolitan Manila. Together with her husband, NESTOR, they use their convenient store as cover-up for selling illegal narcotic, Methamphetamines. their fate changes one Saturday night when their neighbor BONG-BONG, who works as a fly-by-night parking attendant,begs her to sell him a small pack of Methamphetamine without knowing that it’s a ploy for a pending buy-bustoperation leading to Rosa and Nestor’s warrantless arrest by a police team led by Sergeant CASTOR.

The film also stars Diane Lane, John Goodman, Louis C.K., Elle Fanning, and Michael Stuhlbarg.
