A surprise performance of the Eraserheads awaits lucky cinema goers for Combo On The Run theatrical release

  As a special treat for both music and movie fans, the Eraserheads: Combo On The Run will be hosting a surprise Pop-Up Performance Lottery , offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a lucky audience. From March 21-23, 2025, the iconic band will visit an unsuspecting cinema and perform during the weekend theatrical run of the highly anticipated documentary. Producer and filmmaker Maria Diane Ventura shares that the exact location and time of the surprise performance will remain a mystery. “It’s a lottery, after all,” she explains. “The thrill lies in the unpredictability: it could take place at any theater, at any moment, and not even I have the slightest clue. What we can promise, however, is that these lucky ticket holders will have the rare opportunity to see the Eraserheads in such an intimate setting. Eraserheads documentary reveals official poster ahead of March 21, 2025 screening

DVent Pictures and Warner Bros. Philippines , in cooperation with WEU , have unveiled the official poster of Eraserheads: Combo On The Run , a documentary film about the iconic Pinoy rock band and the monumental staging of their Huling El Bimbo reunion concert in 2022.   The film’s poster was designed by Brandon Schaefer of Jumpcut NYC , a multimedia artist renowned for his work on some of the most acclaimed films in recent memory. His portfolio includes the poster for Drive My Car , winner of the 94th Academy Award for Best International Feature, as well as artwork for the Sundance and Cannes-winning documentary All That Breathes , and the 40th anniversary release of Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver . The highly anticipated film delves deep into the heart and soul of a band that defined a generation.  It exclusively shares the untold story of their painful breakup and the difficult but necessary challenges they had to face to get back on stage for their historic reunion in 2022, at a time when the country was grappling with political division and uncertainties. “MANHID: The Pinoy Superhero Musical” brings together not only talented actors, singers, and dancers, but critically acclaimed musicians too! Audiences will be treated to live music in each show, care of the Radioactive Sago Project. The sought-after group is taking over where the Eraserheads left off in 1991, as the production’s live band. The Radioactive Sago Project’s perennially surprising stylistic excursions have earned them a cult following, from critics to art fans, even to discerning rock audiences. The band is fronted by four-time Palanca Award-winning writer Lourd De Veyra, along with alumni from the UP College of Music, two-time Gawad Urian awardee for Best Music, Francis De Veyra on bass, Jay Gapasin on drums, Junji Lerma on guitars, Pards Tupas on trombone, Arwin Nava on percussions, and Wowie Ansano on trumpet. Eventually, the band added Roxy Modesto (tenor and baritone saxophone) and B-boy Garcia (turntables) to beef-up the lineup.
