Pinocchio, The Live Marionette Musical will come to life on stage by premiere kid actors

Pinocchio, The Live Marionette Musical (cast) Carlo Collodi’s popuplar story about a puppet named PINOCCHIO will come to life on stage by premiere kid actors of the country under Kids Acts Philippines. The first in the country doing musicals for kids and by the kids, is the company’s 14th Musical Theatre Season offering for school, parents, children and the entire family.

Osias Barroso's "Pinocchio" is the third offering in "From Page to Stage,” Ballet Manila's 20th performance season. Based on the Italian children’s novel by Carlo Collodi, it was the second animated film produced by Disney in 1940, following the success of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

In celebration of its 22 years of producing well-loved musicals for children of all ages, Repertory Philippines Theater for Young Audiences proudly announces the staging of PINOCCHIO - the story of that familiar wooden puppet whose nose grew when he told a lie. Originally written by Carlo Collodi as a serial in 1881, Le avventure di Pinocchio (The Adventures of Pinocchio), it has been one of the most famous stories in children’s literature and one of the most adapted. Perhaps the most popular adaptation was the one by Walt Disney.

Pinocchio Audition now set on March 30 and April 6

Auditions for lead roles and ensemble for the Repertory Philippines Theater  for Young Audiences Production  of “ PINOCCHIO ” will be  held on March 30 and April 6 at 6:00 pm at the Onstage Theater Greenbelt One. Roles: Gepetto Pinocchio's father - baritone; Antonio  Narrator baritone or tenor ; Blue Fairy - soprano; Angelina  Housekeeper -  alto or soprano; Candlewick -  baritone or tenor. Gino - baritone or tenor; Fox - baritone  or tenor; Cat - baritone or tenor ; Coachman - bass or baritone; Townspeople SATB male and female
