The highly-anticipated annual fun run organized by Sun Life Financial Philippines, will soon cater to both running and cycling enthusiasts, as it evolves into a two-fold event dubbed Sunpiology Duo. #SunpiologyDUO will come in two parts: Sun Life Cycle PH @BGC and Sun Life Resolution Run. Sun Life Cycle PH will take place onNovember 18,2017 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Sun Life will be mounting the event in partnership with Sunrise Events, Inc., which is known for its flagship projects that focus on race organization and sports tourism. The contract signing between the two companies was held recently in Shangri-La Mactan in Cebu, with Sun Life CEO and Country Head Riza Mantaring, Sun Life brand ambassador Piolo Pascual, Sunrise Founder Wilfred Uytengsu, and Sunrise General Manager Princess Galura in attendance.

Just as many stars’ luster are starting to wane at this point in their lives, Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual’s career is going full throttle as characterized by his different and far challenging projects. Although he hopes to slow down a bit in order to appreciate life even more, Piolo, who’s turning a year older this coming January 12, couldn’t help but be excited about the dream projects that he’s hoping to cross off his bucketlist.

Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis (A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery) will be 8-hours long and will have its world premiere on February 18 at theBerlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) 2016. Described as “a marriage of history, literature and mythology,” the film’s drumbeaters say “Hele” is about the history of Filipinos that interconnects narrative threads on the Philippine Revolution of 1896-1897 against the Spanish colonizers.

SPOILER ALERT!! My notes on Silong: 1. Do you know how those M. Night Shyamalan movies relied on a twist to make the audience think that they're watching something clever? This one felt exactly like that. I wouldn't be surprised if people would compare this to other similar films of late (Gone Girl, Return to Sender) or similar torture porn out of Eli Roth's ouevre or even the camp classic Boxing Helena. Even with all the red herrings thrown in the first hour of the film, all the twists were just too obvious.

Plot of  The Breakup Playlist A story about an aspiring professional singer and a rock singer who collaborates in a song. As they work on their song, they start to develop feelings for each other.

In Starting Over Again, Piolo will portray Marco, a college professor-turned-chef who fell in love with his student Ginny, played by Toni. When Ginny left, Marco found a new love in Patty, played by Iza Calzado.
