MET Museum’s Latest Exhibition Spotlights Ronald Ventura

The Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET) recently launched a major exhibition on internationally-acclaimed Filipino artist Ronald Ventura. Ongoing until  March 4, 2017 ,  Shadow Forest: Encounters and Explorations  showcases a variety of Ventura’s works, from his lithograph prints during the nineties to his life-size mechanical carousels in 2016.

MET to Host Accessibility for the Blind: Sensitivity Training Workshop

Celebrating its 40th year with its long-standing credo “Art for All” in mind, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET), in partnership with the Resources for the Blind, Inc. (RBI), with the support of National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Touch The Artist’s Vision Inclusivity & Accessibility Advocate Group and the Rotary Club of San Juan del Monte, will host Accessibility for the Blind, a sensitivity training workshop on October 1 (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

BREATHE LIFE Sikuna: A Collaborative Arts Festival

With the aim of celebrating Filipino artists who live and breathe for their craft, Para Sa Siningis, once again, preparing us the most unique and diverse creations at their upcoming collaborative arts festival called, “Sikuna.” Running on its second year,Sikuna combines the two Filipino words “sining,” which translates to “art,” and “kuna,” which translates to"cradle.” The festival was first launched on August 1, 2015 at the Century City Mall Events Center in Makati City.
