Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 took the regional spotlight as the top-rated original production in 2017, securing AXN as the number one channel in its timeslot among all regional pay-TV channels collectively in Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.

The Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 Grand Final was held Thursday at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, which turned out to be the most thrilling night of the year. Fans have voted and judges have made their picks; so here are the nine grand finalists of this high-octane season:

The first eight semi-finalists gave it their all and wowed the judges in the first semi-final episode of Asia’s Got Talent. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Indonesian singer Angela July won the unanimous Judges’ Pick and will now headstraight to the Grand Finals. The remaining seven acts are up for voting and only the two acts with the most votes will move on.

Philippines’ Urban Crew (#FlyersoftheSouth) owned the stage with a high-octane mix of mind-blowing spins, flips and tosses in last night’s episode of Asia’s Got Talent. The audience and judges were blown away with their boundless energy and professional choreography. “That was so amazing!” David declared, “And in 50, 100 years from now when you leave this planet, you’re going to leave the Philippines in a better place because of what you’re doing.” “You guys definitely blow all the other acrobatic teams out of the water with what you guys just did. It was a performance of epic backflips and hair flicks when DM-X Comvaleñoz took the stage in last Thursday’s premiere episode of Asia’s Got Talent. This was the first time the nine-strong dance crew had travelled out of the Philippines, but that certainly didn’t stop them from bringing the audience to their feet with their ‘rock-style’ dance moves that managed to blow the judges away.

AXN announced today that the premiere date of the highly anticipated return of Asia’s Got Talent is slated for Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 8:30pm.
