Movie Review : ML

The movie, "ML" has been carefully crafted to narrate the truth in the history. It tells the side of the story and the factors that made the time of Martial Law as a dark era of our nation. Without being bias or partisan, the narrative of the movie explains the weight and the participation of everyone regarding the current situation of our country.
ML shows the horror of the reality and the horror of life, and the possibilities during that time, which also reflects to the current situation of the society. It tells the story of the unfair trial and injustice in the system. The mistakes that cannot be undone and the time and lives that has been wasted because of mistrial brought by Martial Law and the abusive military that time.

The movie tackles the human factors, such as human behavior, psychological imbalances and the circumstances that resulted to killings of the innocent victims or the the victims as a whole during the period of Martial Law. The entertainment brought by ML as a whole is mostly a series of horrifying events as it highlights the torture scenes with a touch of family drama, romance and a little comedy as the writer formulated every lines that has been used in the movie.

The presence and different figures of the society had been presented throughout ML as the cinematography and frames of each shots shows a deeper meaning as it project something more valuable as it is. The sequence has been made on purpose and for a perfect reason so that the audience will understand more about what the film wanted to tell. The theme of ML focuses on the perspective of the victims of Martial Law rather that the feud between the political clan.

ML has been made to inform and educate not to propagate against anyone. It clearly just wanted to share a story so the people of the present time may know what could be the bad effect and why Martial Law has been implemented.

On my personal note, the film explains the aftermath, the consequences and the negligence of the Government and the people behind Martial Law. It could have been a good decision to implement it only if the Philippines Government can secure all of its people from the hand of the abusive officials and military of that time. It could have been a good decision if the people of that time had been carefully selected. On the other hand there are a lot of factors unknown to us why it resulted to that and what are the circumstances behind those human rights violations. I would agree that we should never forget and we must learn from it, but people of the present time must move forward and not lock ourselves from the pain of the past.  Let us help build one another, take care of each other. Watch and protect each other.

Do not let Martial Law hinder us to grow as a nation. Do not let mass media affect our motivations and aspirations. People around the globe sees the potential of our country. Be smart and take advantage of the technology, keep on searching what are the good things happening to us and not focus on the bad side of the story. Always remember that the sun shines after the night. Let the sun that our heroes fight for shine. Ignite the future generations aspiration and motivation as we learn from our past experience.

Maria Ozawa wants Pinoys in next porn film

MANILA, Philippines - Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa wants Filipinos as her screen (and bed) partners in her next movie. Ozawa said in her Facebook page on Wednesday that an audition will be held for Filipino men in January. "Mabuhay! Philippines!" Ozawa said. "I bought Globe sim!....audition for the bukkake will be in January," she added. She did not say if she is already in Manila but rumors of her visit to the country made rounds on Internet forums and adult blogs just before Christmas. "Hello guys! Who wants bukkake? Audition will be on January 2012," she repeated in her Facebook page, which is linked to her official blog. The post has received more than 10,000 "likes," 535 "shares" and more than 2,400 replies. However, no one has yet to take up her offer as of posting time. Ozawa has made several dozen adult videos and non-porn movies. Her last adult video was released in April 2010. The same year, Ozawa had t

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
