GAWAD CCP PARA SA SINING 2024 Awards Night at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater last September 20, 2024 - Kiko Cabuena

The Cultural Center of the Philippines has officially opened public nominations for the prestigious Gawad CCP Para sa Sining 2026, the highest recognition bestowed by the CCP on Filipino artists, cultural workers, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the development of Philippine arts and culture. The award honors individuals and groups in the fields of architecture, dance, film and broadcast arts, literature, music, theater, and visual arts who have consistently created outstanding works or developed distinct styles and techniques that helped shape and enrich their respective art forms in the country.

Beyond artistic excellence, the Gawad CCP Para sa Sining also recognizes cultural workers and advocates whose efforts in research, curatorship, arts management, and cultural administration have strengthened and promoted Philippine culture across generations. Artists and groups who have contributed greatly to the cultural identity of their communities and regions are likewise eligible for recognition, making the award one of the most respected honors in the local arts industry.

A special distinction known as the Tanging Parangal ng CCP is also presented to individuals, institutions, and organizations from both the government and private sector for their exceptional support, service, and contribution to the advancement of arts and cultural initiatives in the Philippines. Through this recognition, the CCP continues its commitment to celebrating creativity, preserving heritage, and supporting Filipino talent that inspires communities nationwide.

Awardees will receive a cash prize, citation, and medal during formal ceremonies traditionally held at the iconic Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, also known as the CCP Main Theater, in September 2026.

The public is encouraged to submit nominations for deserving artists, cultural workers, and organizations. The deadline for submission of nominations is on July 31, 2026. Completed nomination forms must be emailed to gawadccp@culturalcenter.gov.ph.
