Set in Japan’s Warring States era and blending historical romance with intense monster battles, the drama finds a fitting complement in the song’s bittersweet tone, which mirrors the characters’ struggles between duty, loss, and love. Starring Taiki Sato (FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE) as the legendary ninja supporting Oda Nobunaga, the series captures the same balance of strength and vulnerability that “Marmalade” embodies.
Following their upbeat and humor-filled single “Bossa Bosa,” which turned lazy mornings into moments of vibrant fun, “Marmalade” offers a striking contrast—a more introspective and mature side of WOLF HOWL HARMONY. It highlights their evolution not just as performers, but as storytellers capable of expressing a full spectrum of human emotion.
Accompanied by a cinematic music video, the release showcases overcoming sadness and fragility, embracing positivity and standing strong as they express hope for the future—bringing the song’s theme to life and blending bittersweet nostalgia with quiet strength.

When I first heard the lyrics and melody of the new song, the way the chorus combines the rhymes of ‘Marmalade’ and ‘Order Made’ felt so stylish. It’s a phrase that perfectly matches the season, and the sound gives a sense of comfort. Compared to our previous tracks, I feel that Marmalade really highlights the harmony of our voices. In the last hook, we all sing together in unison and add chorus parts, creating warmth and a sense of fullness. One of WOLF HOWL HARMONY’s strengths is that each member’s voice has its own unique character. That’s why, for this song, we finalized the vocal parts based on how well each voice fit the arrangement.
