PSYCHIC FEVER Expands Asian Presence Following SXSW Success

Japanese group PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE is solidifying their position as a global force in music, building on their remarkable appearance at SXSW 2025 (South By Southwest®) in Austin, Texas, USA, held from March 7-15. Their successful participation in the prestigious event has paved the way for exciting new opportunities, including their first U.S. fan meeting tour and planned activities across Asia.

Building on their 2024 success at Singapore's "Music Matters Live," PSYCHIC FEVER drew further attention and underscored their international appeal as a headlining act at the prestigious "SXSW Conference & Festivals." Recognized as the event's biggest draw, their dynamic performance on this globally influential stage, which has historically spotlighted future stars like Norah Jones, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish, captivated music enthusiasts and industry leaders alike, significantly bolstering their global standing.

Their invitation to the "SXSW2025" Music showcase was a direct result of the enthusiastic response to their highly acclaimed U.S. tour in February, which garnered significant attention across various American cities. At SXSW, PSYCHIC FEVER took to the "GREATER TEAM DAY STAGE" near the Austin Convention Center, a central and vibrant location, where their captivating performance left a lasting impression on a diverse audience. Notably, during the 'Friends From The East Showcase' on March 14, the group surprised and delighted local fans by announcing their first-ever U.S. fan meeting tour, "ForEVER CONNECT PCF U.S. FANMEET 2025," scheduled for July.

Following their successful U.S. appearances, including SXSW, PSYCHIC FEVER is focusing on their Asian fanbase as well. In fact, they have confirmed their 'PSYCHIC FEVER First FAN MEETING in TAIPEI' for May 31, 2025. While potential further events in other Asian countries are still being explored for the latter part 2025, these confirmed and potential activities demonstrate PSYCHIC FEVER's commitment to strengthening their connection with international fans.

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab...
