Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Movie POV :
Channeling Tita Shawie, napakanta ako bigla ng...
"High school life, oh my high school life
Every memory, kay ganda
High school days, oh my high school days
Are exciting, kay saya..."
Very much like an awkward teenager, this film was light and lacked depth, but was full of joy. Where else would you hear a superhero wonder how far he could shoot his wad?
Tom Holland was really charming as the young Spidey (forever loyal to Andrew Garfield, though). I loved Michael Keaton who looked menacing and made a lot of people gasp just by opening a door (and Birdman!). Also, #PinoyFried bff. Zendaya was meh.
Best moment: Spidey hanging upside down and Siri-voice says "Now's your chance to kiss her!"
Best Captain America PSA: "So your body has changed. I know how that feels."
Movie Rate : ★★★★☆
