CHARLIE PUTH REVEALS THE TITLE OF HIS NEW ALBUM ‘VOICENOTES'

This morning, multi-platinum and multi-GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter/producer Charlie Puth stopped by Rockefeller Plaza to perform his summer smash single,“Attention” in addition to his other multi-platinum hits, on the TODAY Show Citi Concert Series.

During the LIVE performance, Puth announced “VoiceNotes” as the official title of his highly-anticipated sophomore album before joining NBC’s Al Roeker and Sheinelle Jones to co-host TODAY’s 9am hour.

While co-hosting, Puth detailed the inspiration behind his new album title and demonstrated how he has been using the voice notes app during his recording process of writing and producing the forthcoming album.

“Attention” - the first taste off of VoiceNotes, the follow up to 2016’s RIAA platinum certified debut, Nine Track Mind - has been climbing charts, currently sitting at an impressive No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, while its official video has already amassed over 175 million views, marking it Charlie’s highest performing solo video release to date. Puth recently performed “Attention” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & The Voice.
