About The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is a 2015 American animated/live action adventure comedy film, based on the Nickelodeon television series SpongeBob SquarePants, created by Stephen Hillenburg. Released in 2015, the film is a sequel to 2004's The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
Like the first film, the final act mixes the animated characters in a live action world, and was directed by Mike Mitchell. However, in this film, SpongeBob and other characters are animated and rendered in computer animation. The live action scenes were shot in various locations throughout Savannah, Georgia and Tybee Island; filming began on October 9, 2013, in the downtown area, where various establishments were changed to resemble a beach community.
My notes on The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water:
Movie review by Jason Javier
2. That bit about the library card brought back so many memories of all the time I spent borrowing books and making sure I do not pay the twenty-five cents penalty for late returns.
3. Has the secret formula of the Krabby Patty ever been revealed in the show? I started craving for In-N-Out Double Double burger. Can someone bring that franchise here please?
4. Why do I get the feeling that this cartoon was made for stoned adults? All the psychedelic time travel scenes made me want to pass a joint. (Kids, say no to drugs.)
5. I laughed really hard at the anemone-enemy wordplay although that joke just whooshed past the kids' heads. Now if only they had more of those and less of The Avengers bit.
