CSR World, a department of Benita and Catalino Yap Foundation (BCYF) launches Yapak Mo Yakap Ko Benefit Concert on November 22, 2013 at 5:30pm until 9:30pm and will be held at the Plaza V of De La Salle- College of St. Benilde featuring Up Dharma Down and other uprising OPM bands such as Clover Street, Dagsin, Pathway and Unica, to help build a library in the slum area, particularly in Smokey Mountain, Tondo Manila.
In partnership with Tulay ng Kabataan Foundation and the Student Council of De La Salle- College of St. Benilde, Yapak Mo Yakap Ko Benefit Concert was organized to raised funds from the concert will help the kids in Smokey Mountain value education more and have a free access on education even if they are outside the four corners of the classroom. The tickets are sold for Php 250 only until October 31, 2013 as early bird rate and Php 300 starting November 1, 2013. This benefit concert would also like to promote Citizenship by advocating OPM and by making the audience feel the situation of the kids in the slum area through a short documentary video which will be shown during the event proper.

“Yapak Mo Yakap Ko” was coined by Atty. Charlton Jules Romero, Chairperson of Mass Communication of St. Scholastica’s College- Manila. The first Yapak Mo Yakap Ko Benefit Concert was held in St. Scholastica’s College- Manila headed by the Communication Society’s Outreach Liaison Officer, Joanna Armenta who is now the current Program Officer of CSR World of BCYF.
