Prime Video to Release Korean Spin-Off Series Spice Up Our Love on October 3

Prime Video has exciting news for K-drama fans! The streaming giant announced the upcoming release of Spice Up Our Love, a two-episode romantic comedy spin-off of the popular series No Gain No Love. Starring Lee Sang-yi and Han Ji-hyeon, the much-anticipated show will be available to Prime Video subscribers in more than 240 countries and territories starting October 3.

What to Expect from Spice Up Our Love

Spice Up Our Love continues the story of Nam Ja-yeon, a popular R-rated web novel writer played by Han Ji-hyeon in No Gain No Love. This time, Ja-yeon unexpectedly finds herself becoming the main character in her own web novel, where she steps into the role of Seo Yeon-seo, a nutritionist at GB Electric. The twist? Bok Gyu-hyun, the character played by Lee Sang-yi in the original series, now transforms into her love interest in the web novel as Kang Ha-jun, the CEO of GB Electric.

Fans can look forward to hilarious and heartwarming moments as Yeon-seo attempts to escape her web novel world and return to reality, while Ha-jun relentlessly pursues her love. Their chemistry is expected to bring plenty of feel-good moments, making it a must-watch for rom-com lovers.

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what?
