Pan de Salawal has a different vision when it comes to creating a film

As a young entertainment writer, I have encountered a lot of feedback and suggestions from the moviegoers whenever we released an article about a specific movie or published a specific topic about films. Recently, the local Filipino film industry experienced a lot of challenges when it comes to ticket sales and the taste of the moviegoers when it comes to the genres that has been released by big film outfits. According to the netizens they would want to see a different genre of movie, not just the typical drama, love story, action, indie or horror story.

If your going to look at the trend major love teams dominated the big screen. The Filipino film industry has been missing the feel of having something valuable, something that we have experienced or witness as a child. The magic of the local films are not that effective anymore. However, Che Espiritu the  writer and director of the 2018 Cinemalaya entry Pan de Salawal has a different vision when it comes to creating a film. She wanted to bring back a theme that has been loved by many young adult, the film that gives us the feeling that we are young again. Inspired the fantasy films like Magic Temple and Wansapanataym, Che brings back this nostalgia feeling that gives a different emotion and feel to the moviegoers, and this kind of movie could be a treasure nowadays.

Pan de Salawal is a story about love, family, and hope that would inspire many specially at this time that a lot of things are getting stressful and not easy to handle. Maybe this kind of movie would give everyone a break and relief from our hard times.

Pan de Salawal is written and directed by Che Espiritu. Starting Bodjie “Kuya Bodjie” Pascu as Sal, a baker with kidney problem, and the young sensation Miel Espinoza as Aguy, a wandering kid with healing powers. Playing important roles are Soliman Cruz, Madeleine Nicolas, Ruby Ruiz, Anna Luna, Felix Rico, JM Salvado, Ian Lamongo, Lorenzo Aguila, who make up the cast of characters whose lives are touched by Aguy. The film is the first full-length feature of writer/director Che Espiritu. It is produced by US-based Cine Focus Productions in association with Urbanflix Philippines. Pan de Salawal opens on July 24, 2019 in theatres nationwide. For more information about the movie follow their official Facebook page and also Solar Pictures too.

Maria Ozawa wants Pinoys in next porn film

MANILA, Philippines - Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa wants Filipinos as her screen (and bed) partners in her next movie. Ozawa said in her Facebook page on Wednesday that an audition will be held for Filipino men in January. "Mabuhay! Philippines!" Ozawa said. "I bought Globe sim!....audition for the bukkake will be in January," she added. She did not say if she is already in Manila but rumors of her visit to the country made rounds on Internet forums and adult blogs just before Christmas. "Hello guys! Who wants bukkake? Audition will be on January 2012," she repeated in her Facebook page, which is linked to her official blog. The post has received more than 10,000 "likes," 535 "shares" and more than 2,400 replies. However, no one has yet to take up her offer as of posting time. Ozawa has made several dozen adult videos and non-porn movies. Her last adult video was released in April 2010. The same year, Ozawa had t

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
