The Arts Management Program of the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde stages
Pamantasang Hirang (Sa Dilim Man) written by Palanca Award-winning playwright Tim Dacanay
this November 23 - 25, 2017 at the Benilde Black Box Theater under the direction of Tuxqs
Rutaquio.

Tim Dacanay won the second prize at the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature for the
Teatro Porvenir Series in 2006. A senior member of the Philippine Educational Theater
Association (PETA), Dacanay’s works have been staged by PETA, CCP Tanghalang Pilipino,
Dulaang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas, Ateneo de Manila University Fine Arts Program, and
Harlequin Theater Guild of De La Salle University. He is currently the chairperson of the Design
Foundation Department at the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde.

Pamantasang Hirang (Sa Dilim Man) first premiered at the Virgin Labfest 4 in 2008. It is a one-
act play focusing on brotherhood and coercion as expressed in the narrative of a fictional
fraternity at the state university. In an attempt to help his panicking roommate, Raji, Dan learns
that an initiation rite is going to be conducted in their dorm room. This same fraternity was the
one he had left 15 years ago. He later discovers that the frat alumnus regulating the activity was
his college buddy and now congressman, Chok Villanueva. Their reconnection reveal a dark
history as the unfinished initiation of Dan into Alpha Mu Tau unfolds.

The play is produced as a requirement of the Arts Management Program Batch 114 for their
Seminar on Arts Management class under the guidance of Eric Dela Cruz.
The Arts Management Degree Program trains its students in design and arts management
techniques and technologies relevant to the needs of the arts industry today. Students are also
being taught about cultural programming and its resources. The program also covers basic
proficiencies such as art history, theory, and criticism.

Maria Ozawa wants Pinoys in next porn film

MANILA, Philippines - Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa wants Filipinos as her screen (and bed) partners in her next movie. Ozawa said in her Facebook page on Wednesday that an audition will be held for Filipino men in January. "Mabuhay! Philippines!" Ozawa said. "I bought Globe sim!....audition for the bukkake will be in January," she added. She did not say if she is already in Manila but rumors of her visit to the country made rounds on Internet forums and adult blogs just before Christmas. "Hello guys! Who wants bukkake? Audition will be on January 2012," she repeated in her Facebook page, which is linked to her official blog. The post has received more than 10,000 "likes," 535 "shares" and more than 2,400 replies. However, no one has yet to take up her offer as of posting time. Ozawa has made several dozen adult videos and non-porn movies. Her last adult video was released in April 2010. The same year, Ozawa had t

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
