Darren Espanto releases the Deluxe Edition of his album “Be With Me”

The Total Performer Darren Espanto releases the Deluxe Edition of his album “Be With Me” on May 5 surprising his fans. It debuted at #1 on iTunes Philippines album charts on the date of the release.

Prior to the release, he held a Twitter Party last May 4 then announced on midnight of May 5 the coming out of the Deluxe Edition. The same day, Espanto sold his album himself at two Astroplus branches: Mall of Asia and SM Megamall for those who want to get hold of his CD album first.

 “Be With Me: Deluxe Edition” features his new single “My Baby & Me” featuring Malaysian teen singer Nik Qistina. It was highlighted on Spotify’s “New Music Fridays” playlist. Also included is his collaboration for Qistina’s song “Young Hearts (Stripped)”.

“It was such an honor for an international artist like Nik Qistina to have guested in my song after I did the duet with her for ‘Young Hearts’. It was nice that two people from different countries can work together and make beautiful music. I’m so excited about this collaboration which I hope will open more doors for me especially in Southeast Asia,” Espanto said.

Other bonus tracks in the album are: “I’ll Be There” with Jed Madela, Acoustic versions of “7 Minutes” and “Alam” and the viral hit, his cover of Sia’s “Chandelier”.

The “Be With Me” album boasts of top-notch producers Kiko Guevarra, Jungee Marcelo, Jay-R, Kiko Salazar and a line-up of international and top Filipino composers. Darren also composed two songs: “Home” and “Hanggang Hi Hello” signaling his growth as an artist. The Standard version came out digitally worldwide but the CD was released in Singapore (where he had a promotional tour in 2016) and Korea.

Espanto recently won the Favorite Artist and Favorite Male Artist award at the 2017 MYX Music Awards and has achieved countless trophies from prestigious award-giving bodies. He has likewise Platinum (Darren) and Gold Record (Be With Me) albums, has 9 #1 singles, the youngest performer to hold a solo concert at Mall of Asia Arena, still in demand for concerts and gigs here and abroad, is one of the mainstays of ABS-CBN variety show ASAP and got noticed by international artists Nicki Minaj, Ashton Kutcher and Fantasia Barrino.

“Be With Me: Deluxe Edition” is now on digital downloads (iTunes, Spinnr) and streaming (Spotify, Apple Music, Spinnr) and in CDs at leading record stores.
