Wish 107.5 is becoming one of the fastest growing Youtube Channel in the country today. It was so impressive to see how this small radio station is now hitting the country by storm through their WISHclusive videos featuring some of our favorite and leading music artists today performing their greatest hits or impressive song renditions that will put us all in awe.

Tracing back their humble beginning, the FM Station was officially launched on August of 2014 and since then, they have earned an overwhelming amount of listeners. In fact, for 2016 alone, Wish 107.5 has obtained an impressive 236% increase in the number of its YouTube channel subscribers, making it the fastest
growing channel in the country according to the year end report  released by YouTube Philippines.

They have earned almost half a million  new subscribers this year which is truly a great milestone for their radio station.  They have featured over 400 Wishclusive videos that continually earn praises from  music lovers and stars here and abroad. From such overwhelming response from their followers, they came up with the so-called WISHclusive Elite Circle, a special WISH group which will be composed of artists whose videos are certified viral and phenomenal.

Last year’s Wish 107.5 Music Awards was a blast but this time, they promise to make it bigger, grander and more exclusive for their wishers! It’s definitely a wish-granting event. The 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards will be more than just an evening of music and entertainment with over Php 1 Million to be granted for the lucky winners in which the prizes will be leaded to the artist’s selected charitable institutions and beneficiaries.

The 2nd WMA will happen on January 16, 2017 at the SMART- Araneta Coliseum which allows us  not just to witness the announcing on this year’s big winners but also to witness a string of stellar performances featuring the country’s biggest OPM Stars.

The Juans is nominated for the best wishclusive performance by a group or duo for 2nd wish FM music awards.
There will be a total of 75 music acts to compete for 13 different categories including the Best WISHclusive Performances (by a Group or a Duo/ Young / Female/ Male Artist), Wish Original Song of the Year (By a Group or Duo / Female/ Male Artist) and Wish Artist of the Year (Young / Female/ Male). Apart from these major awards , the 2nd WMA will also honor OPM artist through minor and special awards like Wish Promising Artist, Best Wish Cover and WISHclusive Viral video of the Year.

The winners of Major categories will be given a chance to donate Php100,000 to their chosen beneficiaries aside from the 25,000Php that each winning artist will receive. This will be a star-studded event as the SMART Araneta will be filled by many different music artists. Some of them who will grace the stage includes Morissette, KZ Tandingan, Zia Quizon, Charice, Sassa Dagdag, Kris Lawrence, Michael Pangilinan, Jason Dy and Marcelito Pomoy to name a few.

The Awards night will take place on the 16th of January but the results are not yet final and you can still be a part of it and you still have a chance to support your favorite artist by participating through their online voting. It is very interesting to note that the voting will comprise 50% of a nominee’s total score, while the other half will come from the votes of a select panel of judges. Polling period is until 12 Noon of January 16. Supporters can cast their votes via www.wish1075.com/wishawards

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
