Theater House of Black open its theater season with its maiden production, this coming with material devised by Carlos Palanca winner, Jay Crisostomo IV and K.H. Dizon, "#14 Leandro Road," a Filipino adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall Of The House OfUsher" which is set on the dark chilly outskirts of the Mountain Province, is scheduled for six performances at Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati on October 7 and 8,2016.

Internationally-acclaimed Filipino director Brillante Mendoza will be featured in the first of a series of exhibitions lined up in the last quarter of the year to celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Manila’s 40th anniversary.

With the aim of celebrating Filipino artists who live and breathe for their craft, Para Sa Siningis, once again, preparing us the most unique and diverse creations at their upcoming collaborative arts festival called, “Sikuna.” Running on its second year,Sikuna combines the two Filipino words “sining,” which translates to “art,” and “kuna,” which translates to"cradle.” The festival was first launched on August 1, 2015 at the Century City Mall Events Center in Makati City.

I was invited to watch a ballet performance produced by Ballet Philippines held at Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, CCP Main Theater, Pasay City for the 47th season of Wings composed of 4 different act namely: Weighted Whispers (World Premiere), Moving Two, Ne Neh Le Dej (Philippine Premiere) and Firebird (World Premiere).

Katips – Ang mga bagong Katipunero is a musical played by the Philippine Stagers Foundation that is about the life of Filipino people in the 70’s. It involves the happenings and the people during the dark era of our country’s history in the 70’s, Martial Law: government self-preservation, and how the youth showed their passion and initiative to be the change in the society.

Last July 31, Sunday , at the PARC Foundation in 494 Lt. Artiaga St., Barangay Corazon de Jesus, San Juan, Metro Manila, I was invited to watch a theatrical play entitled “Suicide Incorporated,” from the writings of Andrew Hinderaker and directed by Steven Conde, produced Twin Bill Theatre.
