When the curtains rise on CURTAINS UP! Featuring the world-class talents of Broadway personality MiG Ayesa and West End star Tanya Manalang plus special guest Broadway Diva Ms. Lea Salonga, expect no less than musical fireworks at their explosive best. Accompanied by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Rodel Colmenar, this show, conceptualized and directed by Freddie Santos, will feature deeply loved songs from both Broadway and the West End.
Songs from hit musicals by Andrew Lloyd Webber including several surprise numbers from the more recent musicals that burst into the scene will be featured and delivered in the stunning voices of MiG and Tanya. People are familiar with the frenetic energy of Rockstar MiG Ayesaand Tanya Manalang, who just finished a 2 year contract with the Cameron Mackintosh Ltd playing alternate Kim in Miss Saigon at the West End London.When these two voices which are now more powerfully honed by constant performance sing together, there will be loads of breathtaking duets…the effect is terrific.
