College of St. Benilde's last batch of Technical Theater course is delivering their production of "Paglayang Minamahal", a three-act sarswela about the love story of a young maidservant and an ilustrado set during the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution.

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Technical Theater Program Batch 112 proudly presents “ PAGLAYANG MINAMAHAL ” --- a sarswela written and directed by Palanca winner George de Jesus III and music by Jeffrey Hernandez. Paglayang Minamahal is a three-act sarswela about the love between a young barrio lass and a rich ilustrado set during the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution. Exploring the many levels and facets of love and freedom, the play inverts the traditional sarsuela by protecting the relationship of Alodia and Mauricio from any satanic inclination, promises forever to each other in the middle of endeavor of the nation for their freedom.

Osias Barroso's "Pinocchio" is the third offering in "From Page to Stage,” Ballet Manila's 20th performance season. Based on the Italian children’s novel by Carlo Collodi, it was the second animated film produced by Disney in 1940, following the success of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

Plot of EVERYDAY I LOVE YOU  A young woman, whose beau is in a coma, falls in love with an achievement-oriented young man, leaving her torn between the man of her dreams, and the man who makes her dreams come true. My notes on Everyday I Love You: 1. Let me start by saying that this movie was far from being groundbreaking. It was a simple and derivative love story that didn't really deviate much from the Star Cinema rom-com formula. It successfully delivered on the promised kiligs, though, and I went out of the theater feeling like I was experiencing puppy love for the very first time again. 2. All the credit should go to the wonderful tandem of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. They saved a tired old plot straight out of While You Were Sleeping (loyalty vs love) just by continuously teasing each other and making googly eyes that made the entire theater swoon. They were more than bagay. In my heart, they were really meant to be.

Background about the story: “This is our Youth” is a play in 1996 by American screenwriter & director Kenneth Lonergan. The play is a combination of a comedy & drama theme in which you can feel the intensity of the emotion subsequently balanced by the comical punch line on the side.
