Tippy Dos Santos scores nomination from Star Awards for I DoBidooBidoo

Unitel took a big risk when they chose young theater and TV actress Tippy Dos Santos to play the young romantic lead in the musical movie I DoBidooBidoo, alongside Sam Concepcion. The movie is the film debut of Tippy.

The risk paid off big time and now Tippy is nominated as Best New Female Actress by the Star Awards for Movies for her outstanding portrayal in the movie.

"To be casted in Idobidoobidoo alone was already such a big blessing, I got to work with such a brilliant and very nice director, direk Chris Martinez, and I was able to work with the most talented people in the industry, My Dad Tito Gary, Mommy Zsazsa, Tita Uge, Tito Ogie and others, but to also be nominated for an award, is just an even bigger gift,” says Tippy. “I am not expecting anything, but to be nominated is already a prize for me. Idobidoobidoo is nominated for more than 10 awards, so I am really thankful that I was chosen to be part of that landmark film.”

Currently, Tippy tapes for ABS-CBN teen comedy show Luv U and for the movie Raketeros. She is also busy preparing for her upcoming album.

She is currently taking up Family Life at the University of the Philippines.
