Maja Salvador makes a “Maja On Stage” in Cebu this coming February 4


The spotlight is once again turning on Maja Salvador’s stage prowess this 2018 with “Maja On Stage.”

Majasty’smuch-awaited concert tour is kicking off at the IEC Convention in Cebu this coming February 4. After which, she would be heading abroad at the The Big Box East Jurong, Singapore on February 18, 2018. After bringing joy to the Kapamilya’saborad, Maja will then be entertaining the Kapamilyas in the Philippines through her “Maja On Stage” at the KIA Theater on March 23.

After a year of showcasing her expertise in acting, Maja couldn’t be any grateful that she’s given the chance to is finally satisfy the insatiable hunger of her performer side.

“Nungsinabina may plans about concert and ano magiging title, sinabi ko lang na parang na buong 2017,nagpaka actress ako, nag Wildflowerlangako the whole year, diba? So parang 2018, sasampaulitako ng stage,” she said.

The upcoming concert is set to be Maja’s fourth major show in her career. There’s “Maj: The Legal Performer” (2014), “Majasty” (2015) and “Only Maja” (2016).

“Eh forever love ko ‘yon. Forever love ko ‘yongpag-sho-show kayahindi man kami magsama, magkahiwalay man kami ng ilangtaon, perobabalik-balikankosya,” said Maja.

Similar to her jaw-dropping and viral performances on “ASAP” the Dance Princess promised that hew newest concert tour is set to be an explosive one.


“Siyempre, not the same as sa MOA, samganaging concerts saMusic Museum, kasisyempre we want something new namanlagi. So, ibayungatakesamusic, sasayaw,” she explained.

Quite interestingly, their first show is set to bespecial because it would involve a good collaboration between her and her team.

“Dito sa first show, parang wala kaming director, so kami-kami. Parang kung anoy ung concept nung ng choreographers ko ganon. Parang nagusap-usap kami, nag set kami ng meeting para pagusapan ng buo,” said Maja.

Adding the necessary oomph and entertainment to her tour are her “Wildflower” leadingmen and hunky Kapamilya stars Joseph Marco, RK Bagatsing and Vin Abrenica, as well as her comedian friends Kakai Bautista and Pooh on some shows.

“Sigurosalakas din ng Wildfloweryungmga producers yung may gusto nakasamasi Vin, siRK and Joseph. Tapos may Kakai and Pooh. Syempre si Kakai, kaibigan ko. And si Pooh,
magaling na komedyante naman yon, diba? At nag-trending yung tour naming yon sa Canada,” explained Maja.

More than flexing her concert performance muscles, Maja considers her upcoming shows as her personal way of saying to thank those who have unwaveringly supported her as Lily Cruz in “Wildflower.”

Even if she admits to feeling a little anxious over performing in front of a huge crowd again, Maja is ready to brave everything in order to put her ultimate goal across.
“Siguro yung always nasinasabi ko, to give happiness. Yung magbigay ng entertainment sa mga kapamilya natin sa iba’t-ibang lugar at saiba’t-ibangbansa. Yun naman talaga ang gusto ko kaya ko ginagawa ang lahat ng ito,” she ended.

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to.
