“OPM is not Dead it’s just evolving” Sponge Cola Returns with “SEA OF LIGHT” Concert

After many years, Sponge Cola returns and produces their own concert “Sea of Light” on March 29 at Power Mac Spotlight Circuit Makati at 7pm.
Why “Sea of Light”?

Yael Yuson, the vocalist of Sponge Cola: “There is this thing we do with lights when we perform and then there is “Rakista Radio” who called it “sea of lights” kami we just do it and kami parang.. we might as well use it because kasi people I guess making it a band associated thing when we do live. In this concert I guess we will do a more control environment with lights.

Challenges:
  1. Only few knows that the band have been studying from a school, they shared that school and music is not easy to balance but they conquered it.! They all graduated. They wanted to tell to all that education is very important and its should be valued always specially the young generations.
  2. Fatigues of having straight gigs, sometimes 2-3 gigs a day. Sometime 1 gig in Luzon then 1 in Mindanao, then the next day Luzon again, which up to now they still experiencing. The challenge is how to be physically and psychologically fit to bring their best to every show. There are a lot of idle time, where they discover playing mobile game. This is something that they can do together most of the time. This brings out a lot of stress and pressure from them at the same time build their band stronger as a team (Not a band related activity but very effective). I heard them saying na “Epic” na sila. So guys if you want to play with sponge cola play the game which “Epic Rank”.

Guitarist, Erwin “Armo” Armovit, shared that even they are strong different people what makes them strong together is the respect to each other’s passion and quirks. They all manage to come together for music and for the love of music, for a love of playing together. They also encourage each other whenever they have different endeavors, interests to pursue. Walang harangan sa sponge cola.

Going back to the concert, the concert will not only feature new songs from their latest album but will celebrate their greatest hits.! Expect also some sea of lights related performance, a surprise performance and collaboration with Gloc-9, which almost revealed. Performance of Leanne, and Naara, I belong to the zoo and Karylle will add up to this exciting concert.! Directed by Paolo Valenciano.

Maria Ozawa wants Pinoys in next porn film

MANILA, Philippines - Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa wants Filipinos as her screen (and bed) partners in her next movie. Ozawa said in her Facebook page on Wednesday that an audition will be held for Filipino men in January. "Mabuhay! Philippines!" Ozawa said. "I bought Globe sim!....audition for the bukkake will be in January," she added. She did not say if she is already in Manila but rumors of her visit to the country made rounds on Internet forums and adult blogs just before Christmas. "Hello guys! Who wants bukkake? Audition will be on January 2012," she repeated in her Facebook page, which is linked to her official blog. The post has received more than 10,000 "likes," 535 "shares" and more than 2,400 replies. However, no one has yet to take up her offer as of posting time. Ozawa has made several dozen adult videos and non-porn movies. Her last adult video was released in April 2010. The same year, Ozawa had t

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
