Filipinos love to eat. However, we are picky and our palates only recognize flavorful dishes, and the presentation of the food matters as well. When we go out to eat, we try other cuisines rather than our own and always try something new. When we eat at restos that serve local food, we search for that x factor. I consider our local cuisine as the best in the world but there's must be only a few places that I can honestly say serve excellent Filipino food.
