Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) brings back Rody Vera’s award-winning hit comedy musical,  Walang Aray , a witty and hilarious reimagining of Severino Reyes’ classic zarzuela  Walang Sugat , from August 29 to October 12, 2025, at the PETA Theater Center. J-mee Katanyag, festival director and newly appointed company artistic director, has curated a collection of provocative original works that highlight the exploration of diverse performative and theater forms, including puppetry, movement, interactivity, and digital theater. These elements come together to reimagine traditional Filipino folklore, values, and contemporary issues, crafting narratives that traverse the past, engage with the present, and envision futures. PETA's CHAROT, is a musical performance and information campaign about the changes that our country is about to face depending on our voting decisions. It tells the story about the reality and differences in the society highlighting the political and social relevance to the past and present state of the nation focusing on the key cities that experience the same sentiments.

Following its successful transition into film, the critically acclaimed and award-winning musical CHANGING PARTNERS is returning to the stage this May at the PETA Theater Center. The Journey According to multi-awarded composer and writer Vincent A. DeJesus, the book, libretto, and music of Changing Partners were inspired by his own personal stories and of his friends. When asked how long it took him to write this piece his reply was, “A lifetime.”

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), recipient of the 2017 Ramon Magsaysay Awards is organizing a week-long festival that highlights the role of arts in development, as exemplified in the various advocacy campaigns the pioneering theater company has engaged in the past 50 years –Children’s Rights, Women, Gender, Health and Sexuality, Youth and the Millenials, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction, and Human Rights.

To celebrate two years of artistic bitterness, the team from Ampalaya Monologues decide to double up the bitterness with a one-night only anniversary show “Ampalaya Dialogues #TwoIsBitterThanOne” on October 14 – Saturday from 7 pm – 10 pm at the PETA Theater Center located at Eymard Road, E. Bit by Bit Company proudly the audition details of its forthcoming production “ MAXIE The Musical. Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros. ”  Auditions are set on March 9 (Saturday) and 10 (Sunday), 2013 at Studio A of the Peta Theater Center, No. 5 Eymard Drive, New Manila, Quezon City.
