A Second Chance is the continuation of Popoy’s and Basha’s stories

Quezon City, Philippines – Last Thursday, November 19, the press conference for the sequel movie “One more chance” was launched. “A Second Chance” directed by Ms. Cathy Molina starring John Lloyd Cruz (Popoy) and Bea Alonzo (Basha).

John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo reprises their iconic roles as Popoy and Basha in Star Cinema’s upcoming romantic-drama A Second Chance – the highly anticipated sequel of 2007’s smash box-office hit One More Chance.

As Popoy and Basha, John Lloyd and Bea became Filipino pop-culture icons as the love story of the character they brilliantly portrayed spawned a generation of heartbroken romantics who continue to hope for the true love.

One More Chance, which greatly influenced the perception of Millennial on love, is the very first worldwide hit of Star Cinema. The films’ immortal lines as delivered by its central character, Popoy and Basha, such as “Sana ako parin. Ako na lang. Ako na lang ulit” and “She had me at my worst, You had me at my best... and you chose to break my heart,” lingered and reverberated in the hearts and minds to an entire generation of Filipino moviegoer to this very day.

A Second Chance is the continuation of Popoy’s and Basha’s stories after they’ve given love one more chance. This time, the film explores the intricacies and realities of married life. A Second Chance depicts that not everything is as peachy as Popoy and Basha hoped it would be.

Popoy is a failed achiever, struggling to keep his business afloat and his self esteem intact. Basha on the other hand, assumes the role of the docile wife who had given up so much to keep her marriage together. By painting a different picture of the two characters the country has grown to love, A Second Chance dares to ask the question of whether love remains the same even when people inevitably change.

Ultimately, both Popoy and Basha are now faced with the myriad of challenge as a married couple.

Basha contemplates on the reality that loving Popoy at his best is easy. But will she love him enough to stay with him even at his worst. A Second Chance will show everyone how many chances love truly deserves to get.

A Second Chance is showing in all cinemas nationwide starting November 25.

Maria Ozawa wants Pinoys in next porn film

MANILA, Philippines - Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa wants Filipinos as her screen (and bed) partners in her next movie. Ozawa said in her Facebook page on Wednesday that an audition will be held for Filipino men in January. "Mabuhay! Philippines!" Ozawa said. "I bought Globe sim!....audition for the bukkake will be in January," she added. She did not say if she is already in Manila but rumors of her visit to the country made rounds on Internet forums and adult blogs just before Christmas. "Hello guys! Who wants bukkake? Audition will be on January 2012," she repeated in her Facebook page, which is linked to her official blog. The post has received more than 10,000 "likes," 535 "shares" and more than 2,400 replies. However, no one has yet to take up her offer as of posting time. Ozawa has made several dozen adult videos and non-porn movies. Her last adult video was released in April 2010. The same year, Ozawa had t

Film Review : Just The 3 Of Us

My notes on Just The 3 Of Us: 1. The movie reminded me so much of this late 90's rom-com with Matthew Perry as a happy-go-lucky bachelor who had a one night stand with a sultry Salma Hayek in Vegas. She ended up pregnant, they got married, and then discovered each other's personalities while fixing family and work issues. It was called Fools Rush In and I would have asked you to rent it in a local Video City, but I think all of their stores closed ages ago. 2. In this version though, the girl CJ (Jennylyn Mercado) would rather stalk the potential father and be the emotional punching bag of Uno (John Lloyd Cruz) who had a bad temper (F-words everywhere!), an a-hole attitude ("So what? Buhay ko 'to. Kahit mag-swimming ako sa alak wala ka pakialam!"), crazy reasoning (he wanted to take care of CJ and the baby, but made her sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room with poor ventilation), and a drinking problem that were all supposedly reasonab
